Today is your first day to be able to pick up your March Mammal Madness Bracket!
What is Mammal Madness?
Inspired by (but in no way affiliated with or representing) the NCAA College Basketball March Madness Championship Tournament, March Mammal Madness is an annual tournament of *simulated* combat competition among animals. Scientific literature is cited to substantiate likely outcomes as a probabilistic function of the two species' attributes within the battle environment. Attributes considered in calculating battle outcome include temperament, weaponry, armor, body mass, running speed, fight style, physiology, and motivation.
What do the winners get?
The top three people with the most points receive a $5 gift card to a vendor of their choice listed on our reward board. The current student with the most points will also get one free bonus session with the tutor of their choice. If a K-12 student, who is not enrolled with Sylvan, is in the top three they will also receive a free assessment!
Who can play?
Anyone can play mammal madness! If you have a student currently enrolled, no longer have a student enrolled, or have never had a student enrolled - anyone and everyone can play! Stop by Sylvan to pick up your bracket!
